mezo on Jan 30 '07 The concept is there but the execution is not nearly as strong. The arrow elements in the back are distracting and it appears you took more time working on them then you did working on the details of the chess board & turntable. The colors are super bland and the way you stuck the old man & young dude's arms together make them look like conjoined twins. Good work on old dude's hair, it looks real.

Comparing a good DJ to an excellent chess player is waaaaaaaaaaay overselling what most DJ's do...now, peope like DJ Shadow, Girl Talk and Danger Mouse i would agree with, but not how you are presenting these elements. plus the arrows are lame. Nice drawing tho.
