I like how youexecuted this, specially the tentacles and the gost octopuses. I know this is fantasy and doesn't take any of your credit away but octopuses don't have bones, so they don't have skulls, but if they had them, I'm sure they'd look like you just drew them :P

seems like a lot of overly detailed illustration for no concept whatsoever... doesn't seem to tie in to the contest at all. but everyone seems to like shiny, flashy, clip-art looking work, so good job on that?

i agree - the pirate thing is a bit overdone. but still, nice design, and nice execution. i wouldn't buy it for myself but i'd definitely get it for my sister. good job.
