thanks for the feedback so far folks, do you mean bigger on the shirt itself or u want a bigger view of the design?
Ha!! Yes because 'right on' is so 'hip' nowdays rudra!!
Keep all the writing the same just make it bigger!! I can imagine 'geeking it out' in this shirt |
I really like the over-the-shoulder thing. Maybe I'm the only one? But I'm all for a shirt that corrects people :).
I think the wrap-around is executed well, but I really like the design as is. The perspectives/colors rock.
you forgot:
always avoid alliteration; and never use a gargantuan word when a diminuative one will suffice! hehe. i am a nerd. |
Nice. The grammar nerd in me needs this.
But I agree it's too small. Put your grammar phone in the bottom left corner, tilt the words about 45 degrees up, and make it wayyyy bigger. |
I assume the "learn how to write good" was on purpose, but it bothers the hell out of me.
Otherwise, nice. |
haha, yeh semanti... everything up there is intentional. cheers folks, especially the english teachers! muchos love
This rocks, yo. No joke. I'd wear this crazy cat around, but I do agree, a little bigger on the shirt would rock. Look into a clearer font as well?
cheers guys, nodus - its hand written mate, thought it would be nice to stray away from typefaces with this
I'm a HUGE grammar stickler, it needs to be bigger, and I don't like the wrap-around on this particular design. Otherwise $5!!!
hehe, thanks everyone, still three more days to vote or comment, plus, if you like our design, vote it into staff's JOT2 top three in the blogs.
I love it. I am an English teacher. I dig the play on "Grammar-phone." I think it would look good on an a ash grey hoodie.
I really like this idea but it would be better if the pionts were actual common grammatical mistakes that get on your nerves.
i love the colors, but lose the text. something about it reminds me of 1984, only in crazy disco technicolor.
About my design
The text reads:
"-I hope you've got your quills and parchment ready.
-Now lets start learning to write good...
Step 1: Don't use no double negatives.
Step 2: Don't never use no triple negatives.
-Still listening? Right on!
Step 3: If you need to use slang, avoid using out of date terms.
Step 4: Foreign words and phrases are not always apropos.
Step 5: Don't start a sentence with a conjunction.
Step 6: And always remember to proofread carefully, just in case you've any words out.
We realise this style is pretty unlike most designs being submitted here, but please be gentle! Thanks,
J&S
