Gold foil or silver foil, actual print size, presentation is on a 25sec animation. Just a simple design regarding the lucky ace up the sleeve. Not sure if it has been done, I would think so, but on the off chance that it hasn't... here it is! Maybe if Threadless does have promo playing cards they could include them with each sale of this shirt, that'd be awesome ;-)

I like it in theory, but I don't believe Threadless makes long-sleeved shirts, and I'm not sure how many people would pay $40 for such a plain hoodie.

benbrignell on Jan 23 '07
Cool concept - although I can imagine it being REALLY annoying when in a bar or something and people keep saying 'what's that on your sleeve?"

Also, could get you thrown out of a casino. But then again, so could a hooded top.

neat.

threadless makes long-sleeved shirts, at least they did for the Caged shirt, $25 a piece

Aces up your sleeve Great Idea I want it as a hoodie!!!

eyestozion on Jan 23 '07
Cool Idea but it needs a little more. Maybe a design with all of the suits on the chest. Something subtle as to not draw away from the ace but still add some interest.

Sure I do a Sleeve design and then everyone jumps on the band wagon. Well done, I hope it scores better than mine did.

I don't like the fact that it's on the sleeve... I'd make it big and center, back or front. Maybe back and front, somehow. But not the sleeve. I'd buy it if it weren't on the sleeve.

I can see the way this is going ^. I dig it, beautiful artwork on the card and clever placement. To get around the whole 'essentialy blank shirt' problem, why not also have just the ace symbol huge on the center chest, black on black?

amoania on Jan 23 '07
it's only witty if the placement IS on the sleeve...
otherwise it's just a stupid Ace shirt.
the placement is great. just needs something...else...

I like that idea... but kind of would like to see something on the chest.

Maybe darkdarkdark grey, or something? So as not to draw attention away from the card...

you should have done four cards - heart on the front, ace on the front, club on one sleeve and diamond on the other/...(or some other manner of arrangement)

it's one good idea, but you need to build upon it if you wish to sell it to the people of threadless

do it on a long-sleeve shirt, and I'd buy!

I like how it says 'threadless official playing cards chigago u.s.a' at the bottom. 5$ for that alone

great, but needs something on the chest or back.

The card is hot. Personally not a fan of gold foil, I would love the colour in red though. Nice one.

I actually like in on the sleeve, and i'd buy it if it stayed that way...otherwise its just a cool looking card on a shirt.

really good, but add a little more, an enlarged picture of the ace itself on the front would be even better. Yeah, do that.

Amfo on Jan 23 '07
I think the best part of this shirt is it's simplicity. Removing it from the sleeve would take away the whole point and adding another one somewhere else would also take away from it.

That said, I can't see anyone paying $25-$40 for this either. Bit of a double edged sword.

hmmm despite being so barren, i really like this. i like it so much that i think it would still look great if this were in a standard t-shirt spot. and i would definitely buy it if it were more visible. if you dont want to move the card, you can always make a related design for the front of the shirt.

its nice and all, but i think it is way too little for threadless to want to print a bunch of them

really cool idea... but the rest of the shirt would look too plain. Maybe come up with some sort of cool chest design?

Very clever, I like it. I do have to agree with people that it's a bit plain though, just something simple on the front would make it more appealing

i don't see why people are complaining about the placement. the whole point is for the ace to be on the sleeve. for all those dimwitted fools electric banana even made the first comment to explain why it is on the sleeve. i think this is awesome and it would look really awesome with the gold. i'd pay for the hoodie $5. i hope they make this because i want it.

I'm really digging that other card sub right now that turns your whole body into an ace of spades, but the ace up your sleeve joke is kinda funny on its own. 3.

i don't think it' s too plain. isn't that the point????? I'd buy it as is but not if more was added.

i really do like the idea and id feel i would buy it during a sale.... but id think u could add more to it liek put a design up the sleeve that goes all the way to the shoulder either way 5$

I love the design, but I'm not big on long sleeves... Don't think it would really work on a short-sleeve shirt, though.
