Um, I hate to say this but the face with the hood looks a lot like the emperor from Star Wars to me, which I doubt is the intent. Still a great shirt, $5.

What about "Manos, the Hands of Fate," did you just forget it?

i like it a lot, but may i suggest trying to add a little more detail and seeing how that turns out? i just don't think the smaller size when it's printed on the shirt would do this design justice, especially from a distance.

Thanks for the feedback, Kojima: pioneers of cinema. And to discourage future misinterpretations I'll post the explanatione here aswell.

EXPLANATION

With the exception of one, all of these characters are from the silent era.

The character at the base is from Metropolis, a groundbreaking spectacle of set design, costumes, and special effects. Above him are depictions of Rudolph Valentino and Louise Brooks, arguably the first male and female sex symbols. At the top of the design is the shadow of Nosferatu a chilling scene from one of the first films to actually frighten people.

The face is that of Death from Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal not from the silent era, yet groundbreaking in so many cinematic ways.

This is an ode to the pioneers, whose immense passion for storytelling transformed just going to the theater into an experience.

i dunno... it just looks almost cliparty to me. you chose some great icons. and placed them well, except for the Nosferatu shadow. it seems out of place for up top, and it seems that if you wanted to work it in there would definitely be a better place. the only other thing that bothers me is the metropolis statue. just looks a bit shotty. the other figures are much better.

something is odd about the way nosferatu is shaped... other wise... nicely done

I am not getting the Nosferatu. i must be thinking of another silent movie that had Nosferatu in it where he has the really long front teeth and the pointy ears and was bald. But the history and all that is great! I like this one the best yet for this contest.

no, you're right. but there is this really great scene of him ascending a staircase and all you see is his shadow and three elongated fingers, so that's what I was going for.
