Umm...yeah. I agree with Gibbon. It's a nice design, but i has no relation to Ritter's songs. Did you bother listening to "Girl in the War"?

Yeah i did listen to Girl in the War. It's an awesome song, but the theme of the contest is The Animal Years. I'll admit I started this design before I found out about the contest, but after I read through his little blurb it sounded like the main theme was that he had become lost in his music and fallen away from the rest of society.

i got really freaked out with that moving monkey because i just thought my eyes were like spasming or something.
other than that, i like this design a lot. but the background pattern is a lil too weird for me. i think it would work better with something like a halftone pattern instead of that atari-esque crossing line thing you've got now.

thanks you punks. the background is actually just a halftone pattern, but because the it was made at a larger resolution it ends up looking weird when it's shrunk down. but that doesn't matter anymore!
