this idea came about when i was looking at an assignment i did for my illustrator class last semester. all of a sudden it came to me. polka-dot giraffe needs polka-dot trees to hide in! and this is what came out. feedback appreciated.

looks a little plain on white, but i can thing of any color it would be better on.

I agree that his feet seem to be in the wrong place - his legs are too short, he looks as though he is hovering. I like the design though

i agree that the legs are a bit cut off.
here are two ways i'm thinking to fix it. (i like -v3 best, but i'll let you guys figure it out!)

i might like it better if the dots on the giraffe actually lined up with the dots on the trees. but maybe that's just me.

also, i don't really like how textured the tree on the left is. too many leaves. it's distracting.

the tree on the left looks kinda weird... theres too many holes and the thick line width used makes it all distracting

and finally... whats with the box? the right angle inturrupt the flow of the shirt

i thought of the dots as well, and i tried it lined up... it doesn't work as well as when it's crooked.
the box is there because it looks really incomplete without it.
