I see you got the hang of livetracing in AI. It has an interesting composition and you've chosen good colors that move your eye around, but the livetrace doesn't look good. Actually taking the time to do clean vectors point by point will do you justice. Livetrace is good to use as a filler, maybe a background or something. Keep practicing!
I agree w/Mezo, it takes practice to develop the fine art of the bezier curve and silos...but worth the effort and control you get (plus you get a real $$$ job that way) You HAVE to master it or just put down your mouse cuz no one will take you seriously until you do. Kick back, put some good music on, and trace (point by point) photographs and study outlined fonts and other vector graphics. Notice how few points they actually use - rule of thumb: usually the less points it takes to make an object - the better it will look (remember - that's just a rule of thumb) Your attitude is spot on. Keep at it.
I've been at this for a lot of years drmrama2. i hope you are not offended by the "over-advice" i just posted. Just extending it cuz it was extended to me back in the day and it helped me learn a lot.
wow..mezo's understanding of how to use a computer for free-form art makes me truly envious of all you damn visual artisans on this site! Anywho, this design took me A WHILE to actually spot the bullfighter, but the style is interesting but the sub's key elements need to be boldended or brought to the forefront better.

very interesting design/composition! a bit too abstract that it took me a while to sort of figure out what's happening though :(

The sport of slowly inflicting a brutal death upon an animal for profit. Your design has potential, but I am absolutely against bullfighting.
