thanks for the comments, guys! yes, the red + black is harsh for the scene. i wanted it that way to help portray the idea of the story and the album. a lot of the music in the album (especially that regarding the story of the crane wife) is very beautiful, but the message is shocking and maybe even a little horrifying at times.
