tiphaine on Jan 06 '07 Lovely illustration, lovely color use within the figures. I'm not sure how well it composes on the t-shirt, though. Maybe a subtle, one color hint at a backgrouond for the figures would help tie it all together.

Here is my original post: They have been dating for over 4 months. Can their relationship continue after this shocking revelation? I think so. Why? in the middle of the tee on a lighter color would work best for me...a great concept i have seen before but never in such a snapshot-in-time way. Really nice coloring and style, and is it wrong i think the chick is MORE attractive now without the silly human mask? Yeah, it's probably wrong. o well. 4$

OOH_OOH on Jan 07 '07 The theme is "Passion Through Storytelling" and the t-shirt would be my medium for telling a story. So through a single image I tried to tell a story about two people at a turning point in their relationship. I tried to draw the image in a way that the viewer might even feel compassion for the characters. It was my understanding that submissions for this contest did not have to relate to the Tribeca Festival at all and need only be inspired by the theme. Oh and...FRICKINAWESOME...It's not wrong. Thanks for all the comments so far everyone!

Why would a guy dress up like an alien to get a pretty human girl, or an alien girl dress like a human girl to get an alien guy? Honestly only one should have a costume, but I realize its funnier that they were both lying. Either way, 4.
