I don't think it would make much, if any, sense without the text. I also hate the text. Overall I would say this design doesn't work at all.

Good idea, but the text doesnt look good on the shirt. Unfortunately without the text, the shirt would look incredibly stupid and make no sense... i think you have something to work with though.
