Plane's at an awkward angle for the shape of the string. I dunno.

I agree...the green is extraneous. The plane's perspective is incorrect for the rotation you have it at...that's why it looks odd. See if you can find an image of the A-10 that's already at that angle, and give it another shot.

doesn't read well, and the green is distracting, drop the green and level out the plane and it would be very tight

Thanks for all the comments, I have tried to do what was suggested. Look out for the 'Remix' in the next few days. The point of the green (in my defence) was to amplify the contrast of the serene scene at the bottom to the war machine looming above, guess it didn't work. Hey Ho.
