The pun really didn't do it for me, but I absolutely love the owls!

I laughed. It's a really sweet design. Might need some cleaning up with the lines, but it's still great.

I second amaliaslash, this would look better if you hand draw the text to match the style.

but the smaller size, I think

the patterns on their belly clash with their design. the focal point is on their stomachs more than the message. make the message "pop" more instead of the clashing color pattern and it becomes a better design.

I love the owls themselves -- don't change a thing about them. Their bellies are really amazing. My only suggestion is to modify the "bubble" so that it's not so stick-like that it starts to look like a branch. Maybe change the color of the outline or make it smoother so that it looks more like a talk-bubble. Also, I would definitely align the vowels and possibly make them all the same color.



The subtle Y is great. Not to hate on others who missed it the first time, but the big owl looks like he's practicing his Village People impression... that, and along with the Y-shaped branch, the hidden letter was pretty obvious to me.
