I think her death isn't physical - it's the death of her innocence. She's becoming a woman, thus "killing" her imagination, and the creatures she has conceived in her head are saying goodybe.

Mike, of all your t-shirt designs so far this is one of my favorites for sure, I LOVE the colors of it and would totally buy the shirt. At first I didn't really get what was going on but I decided that's what makes this shirt work because it is up to the viewer to decide and because of that the illustration tells hundreds or even thousands of different stories. Death of imagination is the first story which is a great story but only the first...

I took it to be the "I guess you could say that she is "imagination" and she is being mourned by magical creatures." explanation based on the title but I don't think I would ever have gotten that without the title. Still like the design though!

I'm glad that everyone likes this so much. It was fun working with 5 colors. And Spacesick (I even asked my wife) but sorry, I'm not allowed to do anything with your manginity, though I am very tempted. |

I really like the visual style, the monsters look awesome, but I don't think the message is very easy to read. (if it weren't for the title, I wouldn't have thaught it was about imagination...)

This cast of monsters and your choice of colors are really neat. As mentioned before, it reminds me of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends yet at the same time, I look at it and see something completely original. You've done an amazing job, I hope this gets printed. :)
