About the design

Submitted by _phreak on August 23, 2003

I made an earlier version of this which wasn't accepted... This one follows the guidelines...

mitch_

eh too big and too many lines. bleh too much detail. keep working on it.

LivingxHoliday

rocks out to transformers theme song

travis_

definatly a good peice but not by it's self.. all you did was trace a pic of somthing some artist already created.. even if you spend the time to mesh out the figure in maya or max or somthing it's still not your own work. reguardless i think it would look much better with ome more elements added too it.

AngelOfChaos

hmmmm...I thought I'd seen this before. I still like it never the less. :) optimus prime rox my sox

artswork

Explore the concept of copyrights.

Smartkitwow

agree with "artwork"'s comment. That surely is a copyright image.

PointWellTaken

i thought the other version was cool... i think this one is cool... 5... fcuk a copyright

zerohapi

half of me wants to like this one
but i think im gunna jump on the
copyright tricycle with this one.
its looks nice but wouldnt it be
even better if you were totally
responsible for creating it???
look forward to seeing what you
can do.... :)

...mmmm reduce number of lines...little bit smaller....some japanese type...it'd works!!!

Vulnus

Robots...and transformers are DONE TO DEATH in retro design AND tshirts espiecially. The image is lovely...but you get a 0 for originality. Sorry dude.

Solmyre

someone's gunna get sued...

Reconfine

optimus rocks but copyright issues. gutted.

Way0ffcenter

I know everyone is harsh on copyrights but turn it around. Someone else is printing and making money with something YOU designed. Who's screaming now?

Billythefish

People should be harsh on copyrights..........it is theft!

bow

cool...!!! i like it

fatso

same shirt cleaner lines, nice though

kaveman

luv transformers but not this design

Haha. Hasbro is one of our clients. We just did some signage for their Toys R Us displays and this was the exact (minus the color) Prime they sent us to use. It's funny cause it seems as though he spent quite a while redrawing this (even though it's blatent infringement) when I have the original vector art. Man...sucks for you.
