When I found out that David Bazan had decided to focus on solo work and no longer make music under the title Pedro The Lion, I sat down to draw something in honor of one of my favorite bands. This is what came out, not really sure why.

A David Bazan design would nearly always rank a $5 from me. He is the awesome, after all. Even without the Pedro reference I'd still buy this one. Very nice!

ahhhh this is perfect because I have a LOT of thick brown hair on this head of mine and my friend is constantly making jokes about how I'm a lion.
The real kicker? I wear glasses too..she'd LOVE this on me haha. $5!!! |

Fantabulous! There are way too few lions on T-shirts these days, and yours is so beutifully executed.
Reminds me of two things: 1) Lafcadio The Lion Who Shot Back 2) A childhood Richard Scarry book that included a story about a lion who refused to go to either the optometrist or the dentist, I can't remember which. Maybe it was the hippopotamus that went to the dentist. It's all a blur. Anyway, it evokes good memories and feelings. 5, and buy! |

I love it, sometimes simplicity is enough and in this case it most deffinetly applies. I'm so totally going to wear this. Ohhhh, not to mention the skilled hand it must take to put that much detail and intricay into the protrait of the reaaaaally really smart lion is one to be admired :).

I seen this on MTV like 2-3 weeks ago I was thinking to my self wow looks like something from threadless like the style of it. I just came across it now. I wish i had recorded that episode of MTV News for you to see it.
