Hah, maybe she's bailing out on them at the last minute. I like the shirt. I'd like it in dusk purple I think with different shades of purple to make it look like night time a lot. five and buy regardless.

the girls does looks like she is climbing in - the boy looks like he wants to molest her.

I like it! It's really cute. I think if the little girl was scooting out the window with her feet already on the box turned away from the window and the little boy was looking down at the dog, or back at the girl or anywhere but at the viewer it would look more natural.

I love this design because when I was little I used to plan this very thing out. I would look at my toys and think "If I ever run away, which of these would I have to bring with me?" Anyway, I have no problems with the boy, but it does seem like the girl is climbing into the window. Maybe you could turn her around like lush ink said.

omg that boy looks like he'd creep into my window in the wee hours of the morning wielding a rusty steak knife and mumbling something about grumble cakes......way too creepy

Yay! It's just how I felt growing up! So well done, love the kids, love it all. (Though perhaps it's right-side heavy with all the solid colours of the window and not much solid in the background city. It's a small gripe, I know.) It's a 4 for me.

mezo on Jan 03 '07 I like the mix of your styles...how you merge realism with cartoon (ie, the boy's hands compared to his feet). But I think there's a lot of information going on in the overall illustration. There's not a good place to really rest the eye, no good focal point. But that puppy dog is precious!
