I think it's important for SOME text in order to make it clear that you are poking fun with your generic horror movie release, rather than celebrating corny movies with an illustration. I like all the text, but you could lose the "Coming Soon" without much consequence.

It needs the "Return of the Generic Horror Movie" text. Possibly, possibly you could get rid of the "Coming Soon" to appease all the text vampires out there.
