oH digital age kids! Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black way way back before computers this was how designs, ads, and comic books were printed. And so forth.

OK, so here's the deal. When stuff is printed there are 4 primary plates: Cyan (blue) Magenta (red), Yellow and Black. Together, the dots are called 4 color process and that's how we get full color printing.

The letters are printed in both of the other colors but the one they stand for.

I think generally graphic design students would appreciate this the most (or anyone who's done a bit of printwork.) :] I like it because people'd see the shirt and be like "hey! cool those people know what.. blabalbal is." And lots of threadless people are designers so they'd be interested in buying it. It'd be cool to see someone wearing it because you could 1. know they know what the means (which is awesome.) and 2. know that they look at threadless :].
