Drips are pretty played out, but I really dig this. The red on slate works really well. Simple but sweet.

It reminds me of the Sherwin-Williams paint logo, the older one, a globe with a can of red paint being poured on it. Yours is much more interesting, but the similarity is a bit of a problem.

Eh...I liked the one with the spread out map better personally. The globe is ok, but it doesn't read quite as easily or look quite as violent.

I totally agree that using drips is almost as bad as using a boobie or Guevara photo, but in this case, it's not drips just for the sake of using drips. It's an idea that can only be executed by the use of drips. The drips here... become a necessary tool to translate the idea.
