When I use to create these as a kid, I made the origami pieces with regular notebook paper but sometimes cheated with some scotch tape or glue. However, this particular sail boat could never be made from one sheet of paper, it's made up of several sheets and then drawn on. There are many different ways to create an origami whale, this is just one and the eyes are drawn in. The bubbles are just paper cutouts. Although whaling is not permitted in many countries, there are still many others that still hunt these beautiful creatures. This practice must end, it is not necessary in our modern world.

I love the use of notebook paper texture and the general idea is super. Extreme details, even the bubbles. I love the ship as well. I really want to try to make it now. :)

very nice, i love the paper concept but i think the boat placement might be a little too high. my personal opinion. still great. i'd buy it.
