I love the idea, but I agree with ambientcity. The table looks a little weird and the "3" of the heart isn't at the right angle in the computer screen.

None of the items look like they're resting naturally on the table at all, especially the right computer's speaker that seems to be off the edge, yet magically floating. Also, the candles and rose don't have nearly the same line thickness as the computer, so it's relatively obvious that you just copied and pasted them, though possibly from your own work. The Arial font on the monitors is outdated and boring, as are the colors you've chosen. This rant was not intended to sound harsh, so I'm sorry if it did.

I love the idea. I would buy it for my roommate, because we come home to our computers playing love songs for each other all the time.

i think it would look better without the table and perhaps give the items shadows so they look like they are sitting on something then, great design!

I'd suggest removing the table completely, perspective the for the <3, not sure about the candles unless it was a dinner setting, the mouse is levitating, maybe the wires from both PCs can interact more (a plug touching the mouse as if it were a hand)

theboywonder - what are you trying to show me on your link - usually those are used to prove the "it's been done before" point, but that looks nothing like this. - - - I really like the idea - but unfortuantley it is lost in the crap on the desk - remove the speakers, the keyboards, keep it simple. But please do keep going!

The < and the three both seem out of place. It might work better if they were tilted the same way as the screen....
I do love the concept though. If you get rid of the table and put it on black and chocolate then it would look cool. =) Good job. |
