 The first thing that popped into my head when I learned Threadless was now accepting five color designs was, of course, that it is now possible to submit a design featuring a traditional Japanese team of five robots who combine to form one giant defender of the galaxy. When they're getting along, that is.

i would say no tought bubble, it captures all attention and distratc from the best part of your illustration. Very good concept!

Been passing on voting for this one... ( I check the site often during downtimes in the work-day :) ). I give a 3 for ingenuity... Don't think I'd wear it, but gotta give you credit on the idea.

Thanks for all the comments! Right after I submitted this, I got to thinking that I wasn't happy with the thought bubble myself. I have posted an alteration to the thought bubble on this blog, which I think works much better.

White, green, orange, magenta, and grey. There are 5 colors in the design...or is that not what you meant?

Monarch99, I hadn't seen that before, but you are right. It does feature a giant robot. And his arm's off. But I think it's an uninteresting, emotionless illustration that makes a bad metaphor/pun-type joke. I wouldn't wear it.
I think there's plenty of room in the world for my design anyway, just as I believe there's room enough for the lion Voltron, the vehicle Voltron, the Mighty Orbots, Devastator, and any the many Power Ranger spin-off combining robot teams to live together in harmony. |
