This is a neat idea...I don't really like the bottom of dear old Ludwig, though. It's a bit odd.

This idea is stellar. I think it would be better if his bottom became more of a bust and stone like, because I'm reminded of the famous composer figure busts they sell at the studio I go to. So his body could become more realistic as it comes out of the bust. You could put Beethoven on the bottom so it'd help people with the recognition, because the LVB there doesn't really sell it. I really really really love the idea, I'd definitely buy it if you tweek it.

I agree. i wish there was more detail in the bottom half, it would make this so much more excellent. As is, a 4. If you revise it, definitely a 5.

Amazing! I never knew Beethoven was a genie! No seriously, I really do love this, a LOT, so please give him legs. Also, make the "V" a little more pointed, so it doesn't look like his shirt says "LUB." Right now I'm giving this a 4, it will be a 5$ with those changes. You rock!!!

oh, I love this so much! I would definitely wear it. But, I'm not so fond of the lvb on his shirt. if you can't recognize beethoven without initials on his shirt, you shouldn't have the pleasure of viewing this shirt. I like that he's a bust though. Great work!!

I really like the whole idea! I agree with everyone about the bust. Maybe adding some old school stripped pants & him maybe standing in a Strut stance. Like Mick Jagger. Just a thought. But i would DEFINATELY buy it with legs & no initials! Great work! :)

This is a brilliant idea! Losing the lower half, at the waist, focuses your eye on the face and piano. I love it.

Thanks for comments people, im getting a lot of people saying legs and others saying more detail on the base. i think it will work best with a more detailed base, making it look more like a bust! iv tryed it with legs and the design just looks to long, think it looks better when it is more compact!

you may want to be careful of that B in "LVB"
it looks exactly like the double ss (that looks like a capitol B) in German. no one else caught it though so it may not be a problem. just thought i'd add. |

I don't like the logo... just take out the shirt entirely and make it a real bust, you know, ending mid-torso. And stylize it more. Then, this is cool :)

His midriff is too long, the bust base should start sooner.. Also, add definition to the base so the idea is clearer, it doesn't work as a cutout shape. And remove the LuBe from the chest, it doesn't come across. If you want text, maybe van Boombox? Other than that, great idea, great illustration! High points!

i think you just need to make it bigger so you won't even have to make a better base or legs...just cut it to the waist (where your hand ends) ... i think it would look cool this way

i LOVE this, but either make his torso way shorter so the bust looks more natural, or give him some legs. In lederhosen or something. And maybe make the v smaller? I thought it was a 'u' at first glance.
