Yeah I ddi want it to look like a japanese woodblock or have that feel. It is not copied line for line I just wanted to imitate tht style a little bit.

I like the inserted illustration, not so crazy about it coming out of a guitar. Either that, or just not the way it's done. Good concept though. 3

I like parts of it, but overall it feels too much like two separate illustrations to me.

the guitar is too round on top, firstly, and i'm not partial to the little wavy staffs... it kind of cheapens the design. i'm just not fond of the guitar in general, but i love top.

pretty cool concept, but the execution is a bit off. The herons wings are out of line, the guitar should be facing to the right according to its placement on the shirt, and that style guitar doesn't seem to fit with the woodblock style elements. Give it a little more TLC, and this could be a great shirt.

Everyone is being too picky... this is an awesome design as is. Nice detail, and I love the colors.

I love the wave, the ship, and their style. I say ditch the guitar. And plenty of designs have referred to/used cranes, especially some of the most winsome (pun intended).

i don't know a thing about the Decemberists, at least, not these Decemberists, who I assume are musical. My only suggestion is a little more emphasis on the guitar., I think the guitar's not standing out enough is why it looks like two different pictures. perhaps it's just because of this shirt color though

I don't like the music bars around the guitar. Love the idea of the "talk cloud" with the illustration. It says a lot in a very simple way. The guitar doesn't look as dimensional as I think it should.

Very pretty! I think the biggest problem with it is the difference in style between the contents of the bubble and the guitar, but that would not stop me from buying it. 5$

Gorgeous design that draws you in until you get down to the guitar. I know you want to represent the music aspect of the submission, but I'd try it another way. The rest of the design is fantastic!
