I really love the illustration, but I can't figure out how I feel about the text. One moment I love it, and the next I'm not completely sold. I think I will go with my "loving it" instinct. So beautifully bizarre and random.

sonmi on Dec 20 '06 i'm guessing it is more likely derived from clip art over hand drawn (perhaps hand drawn over clip art), but there's nothing wrong with that! it is appropriated into something new.

^word up sonmi. to answer your question rose, it's modified royalty-free illustrations. they were vectorized, cleaned-up and compiled to create the final image. there was a good amount of illy work involved in the process. cheers!
