i don't actually understand it. you dont know what? i'm not sure i like the text, or even think it's necessary. maybe lose the text and draw more focus to the different stages of the lolly somehow?

I agree with those who say the text ought to be moved down a little (and certainly kept!), and the sticks shortened a tad. Absolutely love it, though! Do whatever with the font; keep or change it, I don't mind either way. |

This made me laugh. Well executed. I'd say, shorten the sticks and move the text below it. I'd like it even more that way.

Also, I think removing the shadow from the text would make it much easier to read/more agreeable to the eye. Either that, or switching the font.

jpiatt on Dec 16 '06 I would totally wear this shirt. I love the idea and the look of it and the colors. I don't HATE the text being on there. I just don't like where it is located and I don't like the font you used. Especially making it look sort of 3-D. It works without the text too, so I don't think you'd actually need it.

Read all of the comments so far, and (no lie) I'm really pleased so many seem to like this. It was fun to do as a painting, but it looks just as cool on the computer.
Depending on how well this does, or not depending on it, I might change the font to go under the design (since that seemed to be a preference) and change the font type as well. Maybe even include an option that goes without the font, so there's a choice. Once this is done scoring I'll do a blog on it to see what the consensus on that is. :) Thanks everyone! |

I tried lighter colour, the sucker stick kept fading out.
Oh, that reminds me. Contrary to comments on here, that actually is the size of a tootsie pop sucker stick. :) |

I really hate the font. Better placement and different font would make it better. I probably wouldn't wear it, but it's still a cute idea.

mezo on Dec 19 '06 The text could work with different font & placement. Try not to 3D handwritten fonts, it just looks weird. Aside from that, the illustration is ok...but it takes THREE. Don't you remember the commercial? What we DON'T know, however, is how many licks it takes to make Lil Kim squeal with pleasure.
