I'm not so keen on it on olive myself...the colours lose their beautiful golden, rustic oriental feel. They look stunning on the cream background that the design is on, and I'm sure they'd look great on plenty of dark colours too, it's just olive doesn't really work for me.

I thought of more to say:
A lot of people try to combine the crane with their design, especially if the design contains the Landlord's Daughter. But this is the only sub that combines it and feels like a design for the Island, not the Crane Wife. |

I fived it, but thought I should note that it works much better on creme. The olive throws the balance of the composition off by concentrating the weight of the piece in the crane. The ribbon and greenery fade back too much.
