I like it. However, I don't know what there is that's turning me off, but it's something there. It may just be an awkward shape to have centered...

I collect gargoyles... not as much as I used to. Id love this on like a dusky purple

The gargoyle looks a little boorish and modern-artsy. I'd like him better as a more classical kind of guy, the way you'd see him on a church. Same style of drawing but more ...elegant form on him.

Maybe a wee bit more gargoyle-y (i.e. more animalistic/ugly) and more people will get on board. But(!) from me, it's def. a 5$!
