cause i tried to make the beak with yellow. but it looked odd. so i went with black. if you look at the larger version i posted you can kind of see the outline.

The illustration is great, I don't think it goes well with the text. It makes sense but it just looks wrong. Not giving you a bad score though.

The 'mouth' is adorable, even if its anatomically incorrect for an owl. I like it with the text, but when its BRIGHT YELLOW, does it really need to be THAT big? Smaller text and I'd buy it.

Great job--the world needs more O RLY owls. =P And I love love love that owl, it's so well drawn; awesome style. But I don't really like the combination of the two. I get the reference, but I still like the owl more than the text. I know taking away the text kinda removes the point, but honestly, I think I'd rather see something else drawn with owls in the same style, possibly along the same theme, but just without the text. The style is awesome, maybe if you could use multiple owls with different expressions to convey the O RLY and YA RLY messages.
