I like it alot, but it's The Crane Wife, not the Island. That being said, It might be too dark? If the background were in another color maybe? 4 *and a half ; ) *

i wouldnt say it looks like flowers in the attic at all. it just goes diagonally across the shirt. a thousand shirts do that.
i think you should put the showdow underneath though. and some lines look a little unclean. but i really like this submission. |

Yeah, I noticed the whole "Island" thing after I submitted it. I think a lot of designers were so excited, they saw the words "Crane Wife" and designed away. It's too bad there have already been many attractive, yet irrelevant submissions.

it needs more color, tils too dark on its own. maybe color the Obi of her kimono or something small like that, just to add a touch more color.

The feathers should probably be as detailed as the rest. Otherwise I love it.

reminds me of the movie version of memoirs of a geisha... at the end of sayuri's snow dance she is in a similar position, but bent back so her head is almost touching the floor

It's only like FitA in that there are things flying across the shirt. Spiritually (ha!) it reminds me of stickymike's Set Me Free, but I think this is a design that fairly clearly stands on its own.

Nice design! It doesn't look too much like "Flowers in the Attic" at all, but I'd maybe make her hair a different (more contrasting) color? Maybe it's just my computer...4

Thanks for all the input. If somebody would let me know how to not loose quality when I size an image down, it would be much appreciated. I'm kinda new to all this computer stuff.
