I'd say keep it on the front, that's how my dryer works. I just never understood this archetypical situation, I never lost a sock in the dryer. I suppose it's derived from days of old when the lint traps on old dryers were humonguos... great execution though,5 but no buy.

It does look ovenish to me... most dryer doors I've encountered swing from the side, not the bottom.

I don't think people will think it's an oven. dryer doors like that aren't uncommon. I've never been big on the whole losing socks in the dryer thing. it's never happened to me.
