I like the pink. It's eye catching and romantic. This t-shirt should be made for girls' sizes too. I think the centering of the art is sort of passe. Maybe if it was off-center it would make more of a statement.

Seriously, I did in full-color watercolor (see website image that I linked above for the original version, not up for voting), scanned it in and monotoned it in p-shop. It is a one-color image for the tshirt design.

There shouldn't be any problems, as Lacey has already mentioned it is only a one colour shirt (monotone). It uses one colour, in different percentages of transparency (halftones).

I think I see your concern: it's not solid lines like many of the other vector images, but it will translate fine onto a screen. The halftones will take care of it.

if you notice in the print section nothing printed has ever had halftones implemented

I double checked my design, and it's actually duotone (pink and red), not monotone. I'm in this for the fun, in any case.

magenta on light yello is hot. i like the washy, ink feel.

Again, great design, however.......Seriously for like the 10th time....FOLLOW THE THREADLESS REQUIREMENTS FOR PRINTING...PLEASE! I LOVE your design, however, unless we are going to turn this forum into the "vote for great designs that CAN or CANT be printed by Threadless" then lets all stick to the rules. There are many of us that would LOVE to flex our full color skills, however we must all follow the requirements for submissions so we dont waste the time of the others on the forum and take this forum away from actually voting on shirts that can be printed. KUDOS, you are a great artist I am giving this a 5; but understand that I too wish I could submit some of my full color Raster art to Threadless, that would change the game greatly. However I will spare the forum as THE WONT BE ABLE TO BE PRINTED. Others, please tell me if I am far off here. I just think that we can either have a forum that votes on shirts that Threadless can actually print, or we can have a "favorite art piece" forum where everyone starts submitting full color photographs because they think that threadless can print them. I love your work Lacey, and I ope that VERY SOON threadless starts to print shirts without the color requirements, but until they do, I cant wait to see a 4 color version of your design so I can click on the "I'd but this" button before I click the much deserved "5" rating for your beautiful work.

Err, yes you could print this. As mentioned above it's duotone so the number of colours is no problem and so long as there's a decent 300dpi version I see no problem in reducing this down to halftone screens...

Having said that, nice skull but it's just not really my bag.

It might look quite nice with a slightly coarser treatment too...

Du--your comments are well-recieved and I understand what you are saying. However, I did read the submission guidelines, and they did say I could design this in a raster program. I turned the image into a dutone image so it could be printed. I also double checked this with a screen printer to be sure, and it can be printed. Whether or not Threadless will want to print it is up to them (as it is different than the vector images they usually do), but like I said before, I am in this for the fun. Thanks for your comments, though!

god.. this caught my eye and i loveeee watercolors.. seeing this got printed.. maybe i could try something like this too.. i really totally love this design.. i wish this could get reprinted T__T thanks for showing it tho! :)
