i see you have a thing for skulls. four horsemen of the Apocalypse... i like the look, but i feel like it needs more going on. this is death and destruction we're dealing with.

valorandvellum on Dec 05 '06 Maybe do some research... each horseman actually had specific characteristics (one represented death, one was a "judge," etc.). It might help differentiate them, and add a unique element.

Heh, heh, we just finished watching the movie "Elf" so this made me think of the horsemen in Central Park..

I like the illustration, but the skulls look like kid robot characters too much (it looks like a kid robot tee)

I like the four horsemen a lot... the clouds they're riding in on- not so much. Not to be super-prescriptive but how them trampling a bunch of skulls similar but smaller than their own heads?

yea they look cool. and as i understand it the concept is cutesying up the apocalypse? well you gotta cutesy up the individual horsemen, they all look the same. they are 4 very different things, maybe find ways to make things like famine cute... or war... that can be cute? ever see the old WW2 disney cartoons? cute as a button.

Nice positioning & nice style, but without any sense of identity for each horseman then I don't think I'd get it.

The horsemen had different colors than this as well...so that throws me off a bit. In case you don't know, the horsemen are generally red, white, black, and yellow/green and to make it more interesting, each has a different item that they carry scales, a sword, a crown, and the fourth is the embodiment of death. Hope this helps!

I think the four horsemen need to be really well-drawn and detailed to be successful on a t-shirt.

Honestly relaxjolene is right, if each rider had the item or look that showed which one they were, this shirt would be ten times better. The colors of the horsemen, I can deal with. 4 for now.

igotadonothindegree is right about "Apocalypse Ponies", that was the first thing I thought of. This could use the plague, pestilence, death, and....famine? was famine the last one? I don't remember, anyway differentiate the horses.
