There are all sorts of pies, so I can understand why peach was left out. Kidney pie? isn't that a UK dish? We American's don't generally eat kidney pie, do we? Other thing is, American Pie, isn't that a reference to the song? If so, great little slip in there. Also, I would take out meat pies (pork, kidney) and replace with dessert pies, to go along with all the others. If it was changed, I'd buy it. I give it a 4.

maybe move pork to the bottom or choose another type of pie...it's not a very recognizable type of pie. i love the 4 and 20 blackbird slice!

I have to agree that there's too much "steak and kidney" pie. I would like to see it replaced with another creative pie pun (like the pi and '4 and 20 blackbirds' slices)! Great job thus far, though!

awesome idea. i like that you have 4 not really edible pies on there, cutie pie is the only other one i can think of. i also wish steak and kidney was a little smaller. what about mince meat instead of pork? i've never heard of pork pie before, but maybe it's a regional thing.

What a concept ! I love seeing words/things occuring simultaneously within itself. ---- writer28 makes a good point that the focus for edible pies should be on dessert pies ( such as pecan, peach, cream and Boston cream ). Well, it would be nice to have at least one nod to meat pies too. I favor the Shepherd's pie for that. --- Also, I would like to see 5 colors used since Threadless is allowing it up to Jan 1st 2007.

by my count there ARE already 5 colors. Shirt color not counting, we have yellow, blue, red, white, and green. Nice work.

i agree with the large meat pie but im not american. pi should only be 3.1 % of the graph coz its not that kind of geek shirt. telling pork pies means telling lies.

Fabulous design, love the colours, but a couple of points.
1 - what has the designer got against Shepherd's Pie 2 - cottage pie doesn't get a mention, I love a tasty cottage. 3 - Pi is technically 22/7. 3.14159265 is rather inaccurate for a number which is infinite. Other than that, this design is as electric as a pie-lon!!!! |
