The joy of happiness! It sometimes makes you forget those little details. I was going to just submit this to the regular contest, but it kind of goes with the Pop 5 contest so I thought I'd try that. Also, please tell me what you do and don't like about it. And this is definitely not a pro drug design, she's not a heroin addict or anything.

I'm not sure how to interpret this image. Is she throwing a large pile of hypodermic needles into the air? If so, I can imagine one of two stories: either she's freed herself from addiction, or she's revelling in the physical pleasure of whatever is/was in the needles. Either way... I don't like needles.

I like her skirt, but her legs look a bit wonky!

i like it on the side like that. should the needles be blowing in the wind like her dress is? oh, and like mymil pointed out - is she throwing away her addiction/needles? you said it wasn’t a pro-drug design, so she isn’t reveling in the pleasure or anything. but i feel that something should be done to clarify that a bit. - I do like this though. good job!

She works at a Methadone Clinic helping poor addicts and as she was throwing away all their used needles she got a call from her gynecologist confirming that in fact she did not have chlamydia. She became so overcome with happiness that she threw the needles in the air not thinking of the consequences. That was the back story I had in my head, but throwing away her addiction sounds better. Whichever one you want to go with is fine.

I like this, but I am not sure about the needles. I think it would look great without them, just with the girl.

It's crazy because I myself have a phobia with needles but i like the whole "free" concept

I don't like the needs, but I like the way the woman is drawn. it's really good except for a couple of picky details: her legs (especially the right one) look weird, her belly button looks off center, and her skirt looks a little too low

she looks like a devil.
its a good idea if you change the girl, make the colors more happy, and i personally dont like the needles (but they make sense, however i'd choose something else- then i might buy it)

could the needles be subtley spelling out something, perhaps "freedom" or "happiness" so it hammers the point home better?

I like it, but she's got a bad case of the cankles.

Thanks for suggestions everybody, I did have a little trouble with the legs. I'll probably be resubmitting this once I've got everything looking much better and maybe I'll try something else besides needles since everybody seems to hate them.
