About my design

by joeshellard
If you were as obsessed with dinosaurs as I was when you were younger, you might remember that the Rex in T. Rex means King. Hence the crown and the Fleurs-de-lis.

Before anyone says, the crossbones are small on purpose! It's a reference to the tiny forearms of Tyrannosaurus.

Like the concept, the design, and the tiny crossbones... but I'm not so sure about the pattern. At least on the light colored shirts it makes it a bit hard to distinguish.

Yea, since the pattern inside the bones is a bit large, it makes it hard to differentiate the gaps between the skull and the crown and the skull and the crossbones. Pretty nice idea though.

I think it'd look better without the stripes between the Fleurs-de-lis. That'd make it a lot less busy but still keep the idea. Also, maybe tidy up the Fleurs-de-lis a bit? They look sort of like cartoony cacti from a distance. That all being said, I would totally wear this.

I'd say get rid of the fluer-de-lis too, but other than that I think it's great.

Very good design, would def. wear it. Contary to some comments I think the fleur-de-lis works great and fits well with the overall idea of the T. The only thing I would say is that on the design posted the Rex head seems about two thirds of the way down the actual T. My thinking would be that it should be perhaps as central as possible with the crown a tad closer to the neck. Petty I know but i'm sure all comments are welcome. Hope to see more work from you soon!
