A little more clear on the letters, but it would be whoring it up too much if it was *really* easy to read. The message goes perfectly with the picture, elloosh, you just haven't played enough cassettes:]

I like it :) Needs a little clearer text. Maybe raise the whole design and angle it so the pencil isn't vertical.

Reaaaally hard to read. Great design, though! I might buy it, considering I have and still use a tape player.

FRICKINAWESOME on Dec 05 '06 It isn't a discovery to find out what is being spelled, it's nearly impossible to do it without a migraine and staring at them like a magic eye poster for a minute before it just MIGHT pop out at you. People have a few seconds to digest and enjoy the design before wandering away from it, and in that regard, the words need to be a bit clearer. I could barely tell what it said after i looked at the title! Great concept, superb placement, but needs some refinement. My Huey Lewis tapes will live on FOREVER!

Thanks for those first comments, Ok so the Concept is that it's hard for the cassette to read when the tape is damaged, so i made it hard to read for us, so when you see the word 'murder', you try to read 'Rewind' which is before.

i know this would take away the whole idea of the shirt, but i'd like it more without the pencil. i think the ... film? (wow, i am too young here, i don't even know what to call it) being all pulled out and tangled says enough. and i agree with valoranvellum that it's good not to be able to see the words right away.

xiv on Dec 05 '06 I dont particularly care for it. Its very weak compared to some of your other more creative designs. Doesnt seem like you spent too much time thinking about and producing this submission. Was this an "experiment" at trying a different style? I hope to see more submissions created by you in similar styles to "Knot A Doodle" and "UFOnky..."

Rewinding a tape when that happened drove me crazy. Even worse was when the tape got stuck in the tape machine.

Reminds me of the time I didn't start a major King Lear essay until the night before, and hadn't read the play. I tried to listen to the teacher's tapes, which she lent me, but this happened =P. The tapes were beyond repair. I like the concept because I think we've all rewound tapes this way. The writing, although difficult to see, is cool because you have to look carefully to "get" it.

the placement seems odd to me. maybe if it were towards the side on the bottom I would like it more
