This is nitpicking, but I think either the little boy or the moon needs to be moved a wee bit. Right now the boy's head and arm intersect exactly with the edge of the moon. If you move one of the elements over, it'll help push the moon into the background and the boy into the foreground.

this is a really nice idea with pretty good execution, but it seems to me there's too much space around the figures--i.e. that, inside the box, they don't take up enough space and the rest is a little empty. try trimming down the size of the frame, maybe, or putting some trees and/or stars in there....oooh, yeah, stars.....

I like this a lot, but would like it better on light blue. The soldier doesn't have much 'form', he looks like a blob from the waist down; change that somehow and I'd buy it. $5 totally.

are you kidding me? the smoke is probably rising from a home that soldier just destroyed in some lost cause war. I feel like this should have some uber conservative quote on it
