Why is the apple square and why would the worm be confused reguardless?

I am assuming that the apple is cubed because it is genetically modified? If that's the case I saw a very similar design the other day with cubed melons and suchlike. :S

Because we have genetically enhanced food already, but I've never seen a square apple.

Oh...okay. I understand it after it's been explained...I'm not sure it should be that way, though. I shouldn't have to explain to people what I'm wearing.

The apple is a cube because in Japan they grew watermelons in boxes so that they would grow square (they did it so that they would fit better into Japanese fridges which are quite small but they were so expensive to make that no one could afford them) - but it shows how man has over run nature and is able to process it to his liking.

Actually i don' t know because it is your concept but I thought it was a good way to share my otherwise useless knowledge.

they do genetically modify fruits and veggies for transportation... and simply making them square would do the trick!! i don't understand all of the confusion... i love it!!

lose the worm. rework the stem and yellow marks in the bitten part. They don't mesh with the rest of the apple as nicely. It's got potential, but it's not there yet

genetically modifying fruit to make it square might not be possible, and is incredibly impracticle. the square watermelons were put in boxes to make them square, as sugarkitten mentioned
