Yeah, it's a bad pun. But the Kool-Aid makes it's a really, really bad pun.

The lettuce makes the sub look a little healthy for a fast food death trap. Though there is a lot of meat on there and perhaps some secret sauce made of perservative, sugar and spices.

I'd buy the shirt if it didn't have CULT HERO all big on it. I don't get the pun and I hate everything about everything.

i don't know if everyone knows that sandwich is also known as a hero. I kind of appreciate it more how you have it in the display, with the words underneath the graphic, instead of split up front to back

I'd buy it if it were a cheeseburger.....lol but still props on the sandwich

Have you heard the Jonestown recording? It's pretty disturbing... I assume the drink is supposed to be Kool-Aid? Anyway, I don't really like the text, and the halftone on the hero looks a bit off (as in, random and there's too much of it). I do like the halftone on the glass, though, except for the upper right bit, which I think would look better if it fit into the shape of the rim. Oh, and the recording can be found here: http://www.archive.org/details/ptc1978-11-18.flac16

A little unclear in the message, but awesome art.

When you point out the Kool-Aid, it's hilarious, but it's not obvious enough that it's Kool-Aid.

Indifferent about this.

I don't entirely get the pun. I get hero, but cult? What does that have to do with kool-aid?

i like the style, but a hero and koolaid are not fast food

Yeah, the fast food thing is a stretch. But sometimes you get an idea in your head....

Funny how some people immediately spot the Kool-Aid without prompting and others (younger folks, I'm guessing) miss the reference entirely.

But hey, doesn't everybody want to wear a t-shirt that the uncool people won't understand?

oi, hero, almost as bad as hoagie. sorry i just cant like this as it's a sub.

otherwise, maybe put the image and text on the same side so that people have a better chance of getting it? neither side really makes people figure it continues on the other side.

I am a little disturbed that no one is getting the kool-aid reference.

I don't think people are getting the kool-aid reference because the pun really is too much of a stretch. Nice try, though.
