This is my second submission for the 'owen loves' competition. I got some really helpful feedback on the last design that has helped me come up with this one. I hope you like this better. The image i wanted to produce was that 'ideas can escape from nowhere', you can never really plan them but then one day it'll happen, one day there will be a mini great escape going on in your head and its not somethning you can control. I wanted to incorporate an iconic figure andso my version of the man dancing during 'singing in the rain' seemed perfect, something a bit quaint but tell me what you think. I don't think nuclear turntables and really fit in with singing in the rain.

im sorry to say this on your design b/c it is not nearly the worst offender, but is anyone else really bored with the designs coming out of the owen contest? This at least throws a few new ideas on the table (pun most certainly intended), but doesnt gel well as a solid concept.

lol, no worries mate, i guess there a backhanded compliment in there somewhere in between the hate!! hehe. i know what you mean tho man but hey, just wanted to do something a little bit different, if people like it they like it, if not, i will jus make others. Take a look at my newer design though when its up here, its got more structure to it so tell me what you think

i thought the model's belt was her skin and that she had fat rolls or something gross like that. but it's just a flesh-colored belt. hm. nice design though. $5

good enough design, but the colors blind me. Makes me think of McDonalds, which isnt really a good thing.

i have spent the last week creating a turntable drawing in macromedia fireworks and i am sick of turntables but i will put aside my biases long enough to adore this design... :) but the colours are bad. sorry man
