i think you could have made the swing seat look a little more like a board of wood? i like it a lot though.

I think he should be wearing a t-shirt or something, just because I don't really like the blob of peach. I think it's an awesome pose and an awesome idea though. or at least give him boy nipples. 4 for the idea.

I thought he was being shot in the back too! I didn't get that it was a swing until theurbanraptor said so. I would fix the swing and also put this on a lighter color to go better with the scene and the feeling you're trying to create. Right now it looks a little morbid.

Extend the opes, make the swing a bit more noticeable, etc. Otherwise, I love it.

I love the idea, but agree that the kid looks like he's just been shot in the back. I'd like to see a resubmission with some tweaks.

this may just be my bad sense of humor. but you should have a little picture of the kid in a wheel chair with tons of casts on the back.

The re-do is much better, love the added texture. Only thing I would change is the nostrils and smile. Takes away from the depth you created.

Great concept, and great design! I like it just the way it is, and wouldn't change a thing, the lack of detail gives it a certain feeling and I love it.

The first thought that ran in my head was Nacho Libre. And then I looked at it closer. I really like the goggles and the hair. Dunno why. But the body and everything else doesn't work for me. He looks like he's stretching after taking a nap.

at first I thought the swing was a sled/sleigh and the ropes/chains were the runners. I think the swing needs to look more like a swing. I don't think the seat turns up as much when you jump out of a swing, though I haven't seen anybody jump out of a swing in a while. I like this idea, probably because I used to wear blankets as capes.
