yeah, the back legs look a little weird. I'm not sure what the gait of an elephant is supposed to look like, but I think the back right lack should be the farthest back. on second look, the back right leg looks like it sorta gets thinner between the knee and foot. the design looks good on that green.

My only critique is that the skin on the right side of his body (i.e. the stuff that's shaded the darker grey) is too flat and smooth - he doesn't have the normal wrinklyness that an elephant should have, and like is present on his head and left ear. Add more texture and it will be perfect!! Anything with elephants is an instant 5 from me!

the legs bother me a lot. Elephants move like horses, the back foot replaces the place where the front foot left the ground. His back left leg (HIS left) is curving under himself, like he has a birth defect...but i really like this idea

Thanks for all the comments everyone! I really appreciate them, especially on my first submission. I realize there are a few drawing flaws. As far as the feet go, the back left leg is leaning in, but I suppose the expose part shows a bit too much, and then the "whispy" line at the other foot behind it doesn't quit help. :/ Thanks for the critiques, however!

I like the green much more than the yellow. Also, it took me a while to notice the mouse. I don't know; maybe alter the design a bit to draw a focal point to the mouse?

try spreading the legs apart a bit, especially the back legs. the face is amazing. The best elephant ive seen on this threadless, otherwise.
