Why the turtles? I like the old school arcade machine, but perhaps something interacting with it?

Um... I saw it as both, the hippo in a pool of water with some cool little turtles, and an arcade game. Not sure what it means, but I do like the art.

yaaay! but the brown tree to the right of the hippo needs to move over a little more... maybe that tree should be smaller much smaller too. This would help clarify it a little more. I don't get the turtles either, but the hippo arcade is fantastico. I also think the sun/cloud thing is weak. Needs work but I could definitely see my buying this with some tweaks!

I think it looks better on brown, but as far as getting the design idea across, it's better on blue. the hippo arcade game becomes the focal point on the blue, but on brown, especially from a distance, the blue pond/watering hole becomes the focus.

my school's unofficial mascot is the hippo, and we have a student lounge thing (complete with arcade) called the "hippodrome"

I think this would work better with an alligator instead of turtles , since they often live in the same rivers, but nice idea.
