I don't understand. If I'm not mistaken, Venus was born out of the foam of the ocean, which was really the sperm of Poseidon. Are you making a statement? If so, it could be a little clearer. Great image, though.

Slightly smaller would be better (is the image on blue smaller? Maybe that's just my eyes) but this is amazing, especially on blue.

I love it! and I don't understand why people always complain that the images on threadless tees are too big; why design something so gorgeous only to shrink it and resign it to the hemline? this is perfect the way it is. $5!

I love the concept. I REALLY love the concept. I would buy it as is if it were printed. This thing gives me so many freaking ideas though I could rattle off but I don't want to sound like this design is wrong, only some things that would make it so ideally referencing art history. I am probably a buff if you have ever met one. |

FRICKINAWESOME on Nov 30 '06 WHY do all your designs look great on the regular presentation, then when i turn my noggin a few inches to the right i see what they looks like on a tee, and my excitement for your designs jumps into hyperspace!!?!?!? Looks SO good on the shirt like all of your stuff, and rightfully deserves the four and buy im assinging here. Great job and please, please PLEASE keep submitting. This site needs a few hundred more artists like you (in their own unique way of course).

Beautiful, but I consider it a bit of a disrespect to the original Birth of Venus by Botticelli. It's my favorite painting, and, for one, this is not a painting. And she doesn't look like Venus. However, as a completely unrelated illustration, I very, very much like it. ;P

rainn, i think it's a take on the venus de milo...
anywho, hue, i think it's a great concept and a brilliant execution, but when i did a close up of her face the nose looked kind of off, but that may just be me. 5 either way. |

I really, really like this and would absolutely buy it if it were printed. My only comment is that the design is perhaps a bit large on the shirt. Other than that - $5!!
