oh and everything people said about the other t-shirt has been done to this one. Like its hanging from the shirt. Oh and there is something on the front. Was the other shirt printed? This is a sock monkey by the way, not just any old monkey.

But we cant seem to understand if the monkey's showing up his back or his front side, coz the head is facing us but so is the tail... I understand what you wanted to do, but you screwed up the perspective... |

That's not phallic, it's just a crazy outie of a belly button! No, it's a tail and it doesn't look like a penis, silly people. Design-wise, it isn't a bit like the (unprinted) other monkey shirt. Giving the monkey a banana to lust after on the front of the shirt is a good touch, and hopefully a reminder to everyone to eat more potassium. My complaint against the shirt: I just don't like sock monkeys.

I do agree that I screwed up the perspective. That can be fixed. I will take the tail off. Then no one has to comment on the tail. Right?

Love the sock monkey! Agreed, the tail is pretty phalic.
A couple of tweaks and its a keeper. I also like this style more than that other shirt. This would mess up the whole "monkey on your back thing, but what if you had the monkey on the front and his arms wrapped around the collar of the shirt and connect via velcro? You know, like those long armed stuffed monkeys that you hang on stuff. |

Yes, if you can't think of anything better then you should lose the tail. If you radically changed the placement and the way it, erm, hangs, it would work better. *cough* What I mean is, you might be able to keep the tail if you made it... Sigh. It's all been said. Glad you're good-natured about this. Very cute! :) |

FRICKINAWESOME on Dec 01 '06 lol. wow- lesquelette really has an issue with the underusage of the word breast on this site (this is the second time ive seen her mention it)! And people say weiner and dick all the time on here too. Anywho, about the design, there is simply no comparison to that other previous Threaldess design to this one other than they were both derived from the same saying or quote. This is actually really creative, and i don't really give two shits about the tail, but i would love to see the monkey reaching over the top of the shirt with one of his/her hands, almost touching the banana, so that way it looks really intruiging from the front and people will automatically look at the back of the shirt. Plus it gives the whole design more action. Oh, and the tail kinda looks like a male boing!!! object.

: ) Frickenawesome- Thats a good idea about the front of the shirt. I wonder if people will think the monkey is reaching for a penis. Just kidding. Its a good idea I will revamp the design and resubmit.

Maybe make the tail all brown as well. It's the lighter colored uh, tip at the end that really makes it looks like a penis.

the light color on the tip is part of the sock monkey look. it's necessary. I agree with what frickinawesome about the hand reaching to the front, but that would have to go over the shoulder seam. unless you made it reach around from the side, but I don't think that would look very good.

I think it has to have a tail: 1. because sock monkeys have tails and 2. because all monkeys in the natural world have tails...if there's not tail it would be a sock ape.

Ahhhhh. It's so cute. But, one, the tail. It's... ahhhh. But it can always be fixed. And I like Frickenawsome's idea about the monkey reaching over the shoulder to grab the banana. Then people will look at the back and be like "Oh, that is so clever!" Yeah, this idea with the monkey adn the banana is clever alright. I like.

we used to be cloth and have huge wangs for tails. but now look at us. all pasty, no tails at all, and in jackanapes words, there's no more good dick-lassoing anymore. funny shirt, cant wait to see the improved version. |
