what is "sinkist"?



i understand the play on words but the 'play' isn't that great...i mean, sun to sin? that's it? Does it really work if the new word made isn't really a word?



remember the logo-spoof tees that came out in the '90s? Like Dunkin Donuts became Fuckin Gonuts? Now that's a good play on words.

::squints:: I think it needs to be smoothed out a little bit. Maybe just a bad save?.... I think the play on words is relevent... Like, I belive, although I'm not posoitive, that the original name, "Sunkist" referred to the oranges, or flavor, or the soda itself being "kissed" by the sun. Meaning that the sun and it's effect (Eh?) has had some part in the end product... While the shirt,. saying "Sin Kissed" is stating that the wearer has been kissed by sin.... If that makes any sense........ Either that or I was just looking into it way too much........ And you might be right about the copyrigth thing. I'm nbot positive about this, but I think there needs to be a minimum of 6 reasonable differences to make it not an infringement or whatever....

i get the "Sin Kissed"...i'm just saying, has anyone ever said, "oh, you're sin kissed". and what is exactly sin kissed?

does sin radiate and nourish the earth? lol. i just don't think it works.

a logo needs to have been changed 25 percent to avoid copyright infringement.

the colors are different and besides the more obvious differences ,

the sun in the background is different as well.

Ya know, if you actually look at a real sunkist bottle, it looks like it says

'sinkist'... ...i think anyway, the 'u' on the bottle just looks like an 'i'... anyways...
