Just before christmas we started fostering a greyhound called Pumpkin & a saluki x called Rusty. Pumpkin was a little horror, but we decided we couldnt bear to part with her, so we adopted her last tuesday. Rusty was a nervous wreck when we first got him, but hes emerging into a wonderful, waggy, gentle boy & I love him to bits.

This saturday Rusty is going to meet his (potential) new owner. I should be happy because this was always intended to be the outcome, be now its coming to the crunch, Im gutted & Ive got a lump in my throat.

Hes the prettiest dog Ive ever seen.

I hope everyone thinking of getting a dog gets a rescue one.

Hi,

I'd be really grateful if anyone could help me out with this flash problem.

Ive made a button, which brings up a pop up panel when you click on it. Currently, when you unclick the panel dissapears....I need it to stay open until you click on another button on the panel to close it. Does that even make sense? Will this involve action scripting?

I used to be O.K at flash yonks ago, but now I cant remember anything....especially about action scripting, & the only tutorial I could find didnt make sense to me/work.

Can anyone give me some tips, or direct me to a good tutorial?

Did you see Horizon last night? I cant remember the last time I saw a programme so interesting, informative & not full of un-quantified stupid 'scientific' statistics.

This dog was super....they really need to start teaching it some useful stuff.

Im not sure if anyone else here has any particularly strong feelings on this matter, but they are mentioning it every other minute on the radio here, & its really getting my back up.
Im generally pretty hardline & unforgiving, but I honestly thought that releasing Megrahi was the right thing to do, & was an appropriate show of compassion given the current & past relations with Libya. Now Im hearing that there are groups in the US asking for a boycott of the UK because of the release.
It seems to me strange to be so outraged by the release of one terminally ill man, when there was hardly a murmur of discontent when the US lifted sanctions on Libya.
Plus, Id rather he were back home than using up my tax dollars here.

Ive just quit my job & my ex boss is making it as difficult for me as possible. Unfortunately I stupidly dont have either hard or digital copies of much of the work i did there....
What I want to know is, would a reasonable boss let me have a CD with some of the work I did to show prospective employers? I know the work I did there remains his property, but surely I have to be allowed something for my portfolio?
