the Illuminati is among us

So a couple of my designs have turned into discussions about the Illuminati for some reason. Which is fine but i just thought perhaps the blogs would be a better place to address it. Rather then on each of my design pages.

This was a message I received on the comments page :

"hello child, i think your fucked up, you include an extensive amount of symbolism in almost ALL of you art...

i have a trained eye for these things, the triangles, the eyes, the butterflies, the mindlessness, and the hypnotic energy of the symmetrical shapes and colors...

i know allot about the illuminati, and i think you do to...
this is an artistic community, where people go to get away from bullshit like this... so stop. "

In response all I have to say is, everyone knows about the Illuminati. Dan Brown in one of the biggest writers in the world. Tom Hanks stars in movies where he is chasing the Illuminati. Everyone knows about the eye and pyramid on the dollar bill. The Illuminati is just a part of pop culture now, and far from a secret plot.

I just like to play around with pop and psychedelic imagery in my work. Mostly I'm just throwing in things to make everything flow together. Theirs no vast conspiracy to take over Threadless and hypnotize everyone into being slaves for the new world order. haha.

Our brains are just set up to recognize shapes and patterns, so its easy to start finding symbols in everything. Many of these conspiracy theories have taken advantage of that and turned everything into a part of a big picture that's just not there.

Sorry most people, I going to guess have no idea what i'm talking about but i just thought i needed to address it before it filled my design pages further

Hey, It takes awhile to go through every design and comment here, (i dont know how frickenawesome does it) so just post your link here and I'll hit it up. If you'd like to take the time to do the same to mine it'd be much appreciated. Huge thanks to all of those that already have.
